The topic of my blog is the ever rising issue of Steroids and Human Growth Hormones (HGH) in Major League Baseball. I chose this topic because it is a subject that is very appealing to me. This is something that will sustain my attention for the duration, and possibly long after, the course of the assignment. My knowledge of the subject is very basic. I am aware of the common facts that are stated on most news channels and websites. I hope to learn as much as I possibly can about this topic. The ideal audience to read about this blog will be any athletes, anybody interested in the future and well being of the MLB, and anybody interest in baseball in general.
Nick, I'm glad to see you've chosen a topic that will sustain your interest, and even though your current knowledge is basic, that leaves plenty of room to research. As I read your entry, several questions came to mind. What are the common facts about steroids that the media disseminates? What specifically, beyond "as much as" you can, do you hope to learn? Are you interested in the effects of steroids on players? Or, perhaps, how known steroid use affects fans' perceptions of players? Or maybe the examining how the MLB typically responds to allegations of steroid use? As you begin your research, look for an angle that interests you. As your angle becomes more clear, you should identify the specific audience you think cares the most about this topic and the conclusions you reach.
